The war between La Unión Tepito and La Anti Unión continues to reach its peak in the Barrio Bravo of Mexico City. On March 17, there was a shootout between these organizations. Edgar Zúñiga Camacho, known as El Pelón, was shot dead by Emiliano Rodríguez Ayala, aka El Pirrin, on the streets of La Morelos.
The confrontation resulted in a shootout where El Pelón managed to injure El Pirrin in the neck, but the latter managed to escape. However, the injuries led him to seek medical attention. In the hospital, he tried to fake a robbery, but was discovered by the police. Despite the severity of his injury, El Pirrin is under medical supervision to avoid fatal complications.
The motive for the attack is attributed to El Pelón, a member of La Anti Unión, who was infiltrated in La Unión Tepito and committed murders. Upon learning this, El Pirrin decided to take revenge, resulting in the death of El Pelón. This escalation of violence between these factions keeps the city of Mexico on edge.
